Lead Automation Engineer

Design and build the automation that removes repetitive work for our clients and our own delivery teams.

About the role

As Lead Automation Engineer, you will design and build automation across business processes, data pipelines, testing and deployment. You will find where manual effort slows organizations down and replace it with reliable, observable, well-documented automation.

You will lead a small team of engineers, set our automation standards, and work directly with clients to understand their processes and deliver results quickly.

What you’ll do

  • Analyze business and technical processes and identify the best candidates for automation.
  • Design and build workflow and integration automation with tools such as Power Automate, Logic Apps, Azure Functions and AWS Lambda.
  • Build test automation frameworks for applications, APIs and data pipelines.
  • Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps or Jenkins.
  • Add monitoring, alerting and logging so every automation is observable and supportable.
  • Set coding, review and documentation standards, and mentor the engineers on your team.
  • Estimate effort and report progress clearly to clients and leadership.

What you bring

  • 7+ years in software, automation or DevOps engineering, including 2+ years leading engineers.
  • Strong scripting and programming skills in Python, PowerShell or C#.
  • Hands-on experience with workflow automation and integration platforms.
  • Solid experience with CI/CD, source control and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as PyTest, Selenium or Postman.
  • A practical, problem-solving mindset and clear communication.

Nice to have

  • Experience with RPA platforms or intelligent document processing.
  • Experience automating data quality and validation in data platforms.
  • Microsoft or AWS certifications.
